Laser cladding technology refers to the process of placing selected coating materials on the surface of the clad substrate in different feeding methods, melting them together with a thin layer on the substrate surface by laser irradiation, and forming a surface coating with very low dilution and metallurgical combination with the substrate after rapid solidification, it can  greatly improve the wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, oxidation resistance and electrical characteristics of the substrate surface, to achieve the purpose of surface modification or repair, which not only meets the requirements of specific properties of the material surface, but also saves a lot of valuable elements.

The powder delivery system mainly includes four parts: powder feeder, conveying pipeline, powder distributor, and nozzle. The powder feeder is the foundation of the powder feeding system, which is used to ensure the continuous and uniform transportation of the molten powder material during the laser cladding process. The unstable feeding amount will seriously affect the quality and performance of the cladding layer.
